Understand your weekly family digest

Every Sunday, Clear Day gathers your child's week into one short recap, the weekly family digest.

What's in it

A warm read of two or three paragraphs about your child's week, drawn from the daily reports, the moments staff captured and the photos they added. If you have more than one child at the school, each gets a paragraph. Under the recap you see three counts for the week: reports, moments and photos.

When it arrives

Around midday on Sunday: late morning on the West Coast and early afternoon on the East Coast. It goes out at the same moment for everyone, not on your school's schedule. You get a push notification and an email.

Find this week's digest

On your home screen, look for the This week card with the date. It shows the recap, and tapping it opens your history. Clear Day keeps the last 12 weeks. The history screen is Weekly digests in the app and Weekly family digest on the web.

If there's no digest

A blank card earlier in the week is normal, because the first one comes Sunday. If Sunday passes with nothing, pull down to refresh, or your school has turned the digest off.

A very quiet week is skipped on purpose. If the week's reports, moments and photos across all your children at the school add up to fewer than three, you get a short quiet-week note in your history instead, with no push or email.

To stop the email, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any digest email. You still get the push notification, and the digest stays in the app.
