What a family spotlight is and where it appears on your home screen.
A family spotlight is a short note from your school celebrating your family for the week. It isn't a report or a to-do, and you don't need to reply.
Where you see it
On your home screen, a card titled Your family is celebrated this week appears above your weekly digest. It gives the reason your school picked you and signs off from your school team.
The spotlight stays all week, so you can read it again whenever you like. In the app, pull down on your home screen to refresh. When there isn't one, the card doesn't appear. Spotlights are occasional by design, so that only means it isn't your turn this week.
Who writes it
Your director chooses the family and writes the note. They can publish it right away. If it's still waiting, it publishes on its own early Monday, at the start of the week it celebrates. Reasons are as varied as steady attendance, a kind gesture or a milestone, and your school writes the reason right into the card.
