Save your child's photos

Your school shares photos through Clear Day. Here's where they live and how to keep a copy.

Where the photos are

• The daily report. Each day's report has a photos section with that day's pictures. See Read your daily reports.
• The photo gallery. In the app, open your child's profile and tap Photo gallery. The Photos screen groups everything by day, newest first. Tap a photo to open it full-screen, swipe between photos and pinch to zoom. On the web, use the Photos icon next to your child on your home screen.

Keep one photo

Clear Day doesn't offer a per-photo download button. Take a screenshot from the full-screen view, or ask the school for the original. Teachers have the full-quality files.

Keep everything

Use Download my data. In the app, open Settings and tap Download my data, then Request export. On the web, go to Settings and choose Download my data.

Your family's photos and records are bundled into one file. Files that are too large to include are listed, with the reason, in the export's index. You can request one export every 24 hours, and a finished export stays available for 7 days, so download it when it's ready.

Before your child leaves a school

You don't lose anything when your child moves on. Your account keeps read-only access to what was already shared with you. Running an export first still gives you your own copy. See Switch schools.
