Send a message to your director
Send a private note to your school's director and keep an eye on your open requests.
Talk to a director is where you send a private note straight to your school's director. A billing question, a schedule change, a custody update, a worry about your child's day, or anything else on your mind. Your note lands in the director's daily queue, right alongside the other parent requests.
Pick a topic so they know what it's about
When you write a note, you choose a topic first:
- Billing: charges, invoices, or payments
- Schedule: days, hours, or pickup
- Custody: custody or pickup-authorization updates
- Concern: something about your child's day or care
- Other: anything the topics above don't cover
Send a note
- Open Talk to a director. In the app, the message form sits at the top of the screen. On the web, click New request to open it.
- Choose your topic.
- Choose how you'd like the director to follow up. In the app the options are Phone call, Email, and In person at pickup; on the web they read Call, Email, and In-person at pickup.
- Write your note in the Message box.
- If you'd like the director to reach out at a particular day and time, pick one. In the app it's labeled Preferred time; on the web, Schedule. It's optional: leave it blank and they'll get back to you when they can.
- Send it. The button reads Send to director in the app and Send on the web.
The director can only reach you the way you asked if your phone and email are current, so it's worth a quick look at your profile.
Keep an eye on your requests
Everything you send shows up under Your requests, newest first. Each one carries a status:
- Open: still in the director's queue
- Done: the director has handled it
- Cancelled: the request was cancelled (shown as Dismissed on the web)
An open request stays put until the director marks it done.
Cancel a request
Changed your mind? You can cancel any request that's still Open. In the app, tap the request to open it, then choose Cancel this request. On the web, click Cancel on the request and confirm. Once it's cancelled, the director no longer sees it as open.
A preferred time is a preference, not a delay
If you pick a day and time, the director sees it noted on your request and can plan to reach out then. Your note still lands in their queue right away. The time you chose is when you'd like to hear back, not when they first see it.
