Acknowledge an incident report

When your school shares an incident report, a red banner appears on your home screen. Read it and let the school know you've seen it.
If something happens during the day that the school documents, such as a bump or a fall, they may share an incident report with you. Clear Day asks you to acknowledge it so the school knows you've seen it. You only see reports the school chose to share with your family.
Open the report
When a report is waiting, a red banner appears on your home screen. It names the incident type and your child. Each unacknowledged report gets its own banner.
In the app, tap the banner. On the web, click Review.
The report shows what the school recorded: the type and severity, what happened, any action taken, where and when it happened, and which children were involved. Read it through before you acknowledge.
Acknowledge it
At the bottom (under Acknowledge this report on the web):
- If you like, type your name to sign. It's optional.
- Tap Acknowledge.
The page updates to show you've acknowledged it, and the banner disappears from your home screen. You're only asked once per report.
A parent whose child has left the school can still read past reports but can't acknowledge them.
