Add a caregiver or emergency contact

Caregivers are the trusted people your school keeps on file for your child: a grandparent, a sitter, an emergency contact. You can add and update them yourself.

Who can pick up

Adding someone here does not let them pick up your child. Only your school's director can authorize pickup. After you add a caregiver, ask your director to authorize them. The form shows Authorized for pickup as No, read-only.

Add a caregiver

In the app, open Settings, then Caregivers. Find your child and tap Add.

On the web, open your child's page and find Caregivers. Click Add caregiver.

Fill in the first and last name, phone number and Relationship, for example grandmother or nanny. On the web you can add an optional email. In the app you can add a photo. Teachers use it to recognize the person at pickup.

To mark someone as an emergency contact, turn on Emergency contact (on the web, Mark as an emergency contact) and set a priority. Priority 1 is called first.

Change a caregiver

In the app, open the caregiver from the Caregivers list. You can change their phone number and relationship. To change a name or emergency-contact setting, send your director a request. See Send a message to your director.

If your child has left the school, Caregivers is read-only.
