Respond to early enrollment invitations

When your school opens a class for next term, it can invite returning families to claim a spot before enrollment opens to the public. Each invitation is a card on the Early access screen, which the web calls Early enrollment.

Find your invitations

A tile for early access appears on your home screen only while an invitation is pending. Tap it to open Early access. If your child has left the school, you can read the screen but not respond.

What a card shows

• The class name, and For [name] when the offer is for one child
• The program and the dates the class runs
• The classroom, once one is assigned
• A deposit amount, if your school asks for one
• A seats bar, such as "8 of 12 seats claimed". Once a class fills, the spot can go to another family.
• A status: Pending, Committed, Deferred, Declined or Expired

If an offer is closing, you also see how long you have left.

Respond to a pending offer

Pending offers sit at the top. Open a card and choose one:

• Commit (Commit my spot in the app) holds your seat and starts your child's application. Your school emails you the deposit and signature steps to finish enrollment.
• Defer keeps the offer open without moving forward. Your school asks for a quick reason, and can reopen the offer with you later.
• Decline releases the seat to another family. A note is optional, and your school can invite you again.

In the app, Commit asks you to confirm, while Defer and Decline open a note sheet. On the web, every response opens a dialog where you can add a note. Your past invitations stay on the screen with your answer and note.
