Lesson plans with Sunny

Planning a week by hand works on every paid plan with classrooms. This page covers where Sunny can take the first pass. For the planner itself, see plan your week's lessons.

On the web, Generate and Suggest next week are disabled with a tooltip, "Generate is available on the Grow plan", when your school is not on Grow. In the app, Generate — requires Grow plan shows to school admins only, and teachers do not see it.

Generate a plan (Grow)

Generate drafts the whole week. It overwrites the week you are looking at, so use it to start from something, not to tweak a plan you have refined. Activities Sunny wrote are marked as such in the grid, so a month later you can tell them from yours.

Generate with Sunny (app)

Generate with Sunny opens Sunny with this week's context attached, so you can talk it through: "Make Thursday quieter, we're short-staffed." "Swap the water play for something indoors." What comes back is a draft you read before anything is saved. See Sunny's tray and drafts wait for your team.
