The everyday tools that come with Clear Day, where to find them on the web and in the app, and which plans get which.
Clear Day includes a set of small tools for the jobs that eat your week: taking registrations, keeping a waitlist, hearing about absences, filling a sign-up sheet, printing a door sign. They don't need a classroom roster to get started, and most have no cap.
The tools live in two places, and they are not the same list.
On the web: Daily Kit
School admins see Daily Kit in the top navigation. It opens a page of tool cards, grouped Families, The day, Documents and Numbers. Each live card opens its tool and shows a fact, like "3 waiting to accept".

Some cards are dashed and marked Coming soon. They do nothing yet. Milestone checklists, the Ouch report writer and the newsletter also show as coming soon on the web, because today they live in the app.
In the app: Tools
Teachers and school admins on Run and Grow open Tools from Today, Rooms or the director home. Tools are grouped Tonight, This week and Anytime, and each row carries a live line, such as "2 out today · 1 not seen yet".

- Lesson plan opens next week's plan for your room.
- Milestones opens a room's children and their checklists. See Milestone checklists.
- Newsletter pulls a month together. See Put together a family newsletter.
- Printables opens the print shop in your browser.
Tools shows only what your school has switched on. If none are on, you'll see "No tools here yet".
The app's Tools list is different from Sunny's tools list. Sunny's list is for asking Sunny to do things. This one is for doing the work yourself, with Sunny's help where a tool says so.
Which plans
The web tools work on every plan, including Free. The app's Tools list comes with the classroom side of Clear Day, so it appears on Run and Grow. On Free and Plus, use the web.
Two tools use Sunny to draft: the Ouch report and the newsletter. They count against your monthly Sunny work allowance, and when it runs out they hand you the plain form instead. See Your Sunny work allowance.
Rolling out
Not every school has the tools yet. If you don't see Daily Kit or Tools, they aren't on for your school.

Pull a month of what families already saw into one page, add your own words, then print it or send it to families.
