Set a job once ("every Friday at three, draft the newsletter") and control when Sunny is allowed to interrupt you.
Some work happens on the same day every week. You can say it once.
Set a recurring job
Ask in plain words: "Every Friday at 3, draft the family newsletter." Sunny confirms with a schedule row showing the job's name, how often it runs and when it runs next.
Schedules are daily or weekly, at a time in your school's time zone. "Fridays 3:00 pm" means three in the afternoon where your school is.
A schedule only fires if the matching switch under Prepare for me in Sunny settings is on. There are five: replies, enrollment, daily reports, tuition reminders and the family newsletter. The newsletter is off until a director turns it on, so the Friday example above does nothing until then.
See and pause your schedules
In the app, open On its own in Sunny's menu. Each job has a toggle and its next run. Turn one off and it stops, and turn it on and it resumes. You cannot create a schedule there. You do that by asking in chat.
On the web, On its own in the menu takes you to Sunny settings instead.
What a scheduled job does
It runs like an ask you typed: one receipt with named steps. Whatever it produces lands in your tray as a draft. A Friday newsletter schedule does not send a newsletter on Friday. It has one waiting for you on Friday. See work receipts.
Notifications

Tapping a push opens the thing itself: the exact draft, or the receipt for a failed job.
If your queued asks sent when you got signal back, you are only told if the app was closed. If it is open in your hand, the bubbles turn solid in front of you.
