Manage your school profile

Your school profile holds the basics: name, address, phone, state, time zone and hours. Other parts of Clear Day read from it. Your state sets the ratio rules, your time zone sets how tour times and daily reports read, and your hours set the business-hours window in attendance rules.

Directors and admins can edit it. On the web, open School profile under your school. In the app, open the School tab, then School setup, then School profile.

Details

• School name: required.
• Street address, Apt, suite, unit, City, State, ZIP code and Phone number.
• Timezone (web): required. Tour times, calendar events and daily reports all show in this zone.

In the app, start typing in Street address and tap a suggestion to fill street, city, state and ZIP. If suggestions don't appear, type the fields yourself. The web has no autocomplete.

Operating hours

Each day has its own row. On the web, use the Open / Closed switch and pick times, then use Apply Monday to weekdays to copy Monday's hours. In the app, tap a day to open or close it, set the times, and use Apply to… to copy to all weekdays or all days.

Attendance rules read these hours. On Free and Plus there's no attendance screen, so they matter there only for your profile.

Your state

State is the state you're licensed in, even if your mailing address is elsewhere. It sets the ratio rules Clear Day uses. If you change it, check your classroom ratios afterward, because new rules apply right away. To see the rules and record your license, see View state licensing rules.

Link your facility

Some schools have to link their school to its state facility record before they can publish a website. You do that on the web from Licensing, with Find my center (see View state licensing rules), or from the prompt on the publish card. See Choose your web address and publish.

Save

Select Save. In the app it stays disabled until the school name has a value. The web confirms with "School profile saved". The app returns you to where you were.
