Manage a child's photos

Photos are the small moments families wait all day to see. Each child has a gallery, and photos you attach to events land in it. Teachers and school admins can add and delete photos. Families see the gallery from their side.

Open a child's gallery

On the web, open the child's profile and select Photos. In the app, tap Photo gallery on the profile. The screen is titled Photos.

Photos sit in day sections with a date heading (Today, Yesterday or the full date) and a count. Older photos load as you scroll in the app. On the web, select Load more. Before anyone has added a photo the screen reads No photos yet.

Add a photo

• On the web, select Add photo and choose a JPEG or PNG from your device. It uploads and the gallery updates.
• In the app, tap the camera button at the bottom right and take the photo.

You can also add photos while logging. Photo is one of the event types in Log a child's meals, naps and activities, and Log for the whole room attaches one or more photos to several children at once.

View a photo full screen

Tap a thumbnail to open the viewer. In the app, swipe between photos and pinch to zoom. On the web, use the arrows or your left and right arrow keys, and press Esc to close.

Delete a photo

On the web, open the viewer and select Delete, then confirm. In the app, long-press a thumbnail, or open the viewer and tap Delete photo.

Deleting is permanent, and families lose access to the photo too. Delete only what shouldn't have been shared.
