Collect inquiries with a public interest form

Build a form families can fill out from your own website, and have every submission land straight in your pipeline as a new card.

A public interest form is a short form you post on your own school's website. A family fills it out (no Clear Day account, no sign-in) and it lands straight in your pipeline as a new card, ready to work like any other inquiry. This is part of Grow.

Build the form

Open Interest forms under Grow and create one. Give it the fields you want a family to fill in and save it. Clear Day hands you an embed code: a small snippet you or your web person pastes into your own site. Anywhere that snippet lives, the form renders.

What happens on submission

The moment a family submits, Clear Day creates a card in your pipeline, tagged with which form it came from: so when you're looking at sources later, you can see exactly how many families came through your website versus a referral or another channel. There's nothing for the family to wait on and nothing for you to import; it's already there.

Spam protection

A public form on the open internet gets bot traffic. Clear Day throttles submissions automatically, and if a form starts looking like a target, it can go on hold rather than keep letting submissions through. A director can clear that hold once it's safe to reopen.

If an embed ever needs to be swapped out (a page got rebuilt, a link leaked somewhere you didn't intend), you can rotate the form's embed code. That invalidates every copy already pasted anywhere, so update every page that carries the old one before you rotate.

Taking a form down

Archive a form you're done with. It doesn't just vanish for anyone who still has the old page open: a family who reaches an archived form's link sees a polite notice instead of a broken page.

Who can do this

Directors and school admins build and manage forms. Submitting one needs nothing at all: that's the point.
