Keep in touch with families who go quiet

Available on Grow

Schedule a stay-in-touch note, and edit, send or cancel any follow-up that hasn't gone out yet.

When a family withdraws or goes quiet, a short note a few weeks later tells them the door is still open. Scheduled outreach is where those notes, and your tour follow-ups, wait until they send. In the app, open the Grow tab, then Outreach queue. On the web, the list has no menu link yet. Go to /grow/outreach on your Clear Day address, or use the "Send your first family outreach" item on your setup checklist.

Schedule a stay-in-touch note

  1. Choose New outreach.
  2. Search for the family by name or email, then choose Continue.
  3. In Keep the door open, pick a timing: In 2 weeks, In 1 month or In 3 months.
  4. Read and edit the draft Clear Day wrote.
  5. Choose Schedule send.

On the web you can also start from a family's record with Stay in touch, which opens the same Keep the door open steps. Nothing sends until its scheduled time.

Manage what's scheduled

The list shows each note with when it sends, the family, the kind, the channel, the subject and a status. Filter by All, Scheduled, Sent, Failed or Canceled.

On a Scheduled row you can:

  • Edit the send time, subject or message.
  • Send now instead of waiting.
  • Cancel it.

Sent, failed and canceled rows are final.

Your daily sending limit

Outreach emails have a daily limit: 200 a day for a paying school, and 20 a day while you're on a free trial. During a trial, a banner on the page shows how many you've used. Sending resumes as the 24-hour window rolls over.
