What's the difference between Run and Grow?
Run is the operations stack: attendance, daily reports, staff and family messaging, billing, admissions, health and safety (medications, immunizations, incidents, ratio and licensing checks), the staff time clock with payroll-ready timecards, shift scheduling, operational reports, and the morning brief card in Sunny's tray. Grow is everything in Run plus the enrollment engine: drafted messages, tour follow-ups, withdrawal reach-back, and the full brief page that tells your team who needs attention that day. Grow is the whole product; Run is the operations half on its own.
How long does it take to get started?
Your free website starts today, no waitlist: sign up and Sunny starts building it with you right away. Run and Grow are still onboarding schools one at a time; join the waitlist and we'll reach out. Once we do, sending your families and roster takes an afternoon, and nothing goes live until you sign off.
Can I see what the AI actually did?
Yes. Every draft and every task Clear Day surfaces is logged on the family’s timeline, sitting right next to what your staff actually sent. Open any family’s record and you can see exactly what led to what. No separate report to pull.
What if our center is stable and we don’t take many new families?
Pick Clear Day Run at $59 per classroom and that’s all you pay: none of the growth features you’re not using. If you want the enrollment engine later, Grow is $99 per classroom. Either way you’re billed per classroom, so the number only moves when you open or close a room.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel anytime, self-serve, no phone call. We deliver your full data export, and there are no exit fees or contract lock-in to navigate first.
Is there a contract?
No. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.
What counts as a classroom?
Whatever your state license calls a classroom. Unlimited children per classroom within your state ratio.
What happens to my bill if I open a new classroom?
You're billed per classroom, so the price only moves when you open or close a room. Adding a classroom doesn't multiply any per-child fee, because there isn't one. Every child in that classroom is covered under your state's ratio at no extra cost.
I run more than one center. How does that work?
One login, every school side by side. Each center is its own school in Clear Day (its own classrooms, staff, families, and its own per-classroom bill), and an organization rollup puts them on one screen: headcount, enrollment, and classrooms across the whole operation, with a monthly recap comparing occupancy, waitlist depth, and staffing gaps school by school. Adding a location is self-serve and starts on its own 14-day trial.
What's included for free?
A hosted page for your school, an enrollment assistant that answers families' questions and collects their details, a leads inbox where every inquiry lands, and a monthly usage allowance for that assistant. Paid plans lift the allowance.
