Choosing a plan and completing checkout
Compare the Run and Grow plans, see how per-classroom pricing works, and check out from the web or the app.
This is the page where you pick what your school pays Clear Day for the software. It shows up in two places: as an optional step during onboarding, and as a full-screen gate after your free trial ends if you haven't chosen a plan yet.
One distinction matters here. This is your bill to Clear Day for running the platform. It has nothing to do with the tuition families pay your school, which lives in its own billing section. Different money, different page.
The two plans
Every plan is priced per classroom. You'll see two cards side by side.
| Plan | Monthly | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Run | $59 / classroom / mo | Attendance, daily reports, parent messaging, billing, admissions, parent accounts |
| Grow | $99 / classroom / mo | Everything in Run, plus the enrollment engine and the drafting that chases it (the Grow tab) |
Each card lists what it includes and ends with a Choose [Plan] button. One plan is highlighted as a suggestion, but the choice is yours. Grow is the highlighted card: marked Recommended on the web and Best value in the app. Either plan works for your school, and you can move between them later.
For a fuller breakdown of what each tier includes, see the tiers explained.
How total cost works
Pricing is per classroom, so your total is the price you see times your number of classrooms.
Five classrooms on Grow: 5 × $99 = $495 per month.
The rate is the same per classroom at any size. If you run a large or multi-site operation and want to talk through it, reach out before you check out.
Starting checkout
- Read the cards and pick a plan.
- Click Choose [Plan] on that card.
- Checkout opens. No payment happens inside Clear Day itself.
On the web, the button hands you off to Stripe Checkout, where your card details are entered. After checkout completes, you're returned to the app.
In the app, the button opens that same checkout in your phone's browser, not an in-app payment screen. This is deliberate: a business subscription like this is paid through the browser, never through an in-app purchase. When you finish, you come back to the app and it picks up your new plan on its own. (If it hasn't caught up, the gate screen has a Refresh subscription status button.)
You won't be charged until you confirm in checkout.
If you change your mind
Close the checkout page without paying and nothing happens to your account. You land back on the plan picker, where you can choose a different plan or come back to it later.
If the trial has already ended, the picker is a gate: the rest of Clear Day stays locked until you choose a plan. Picking one is the way back in. If you've subscribed before and need to fix a payment or reopen an old plan, use Manage an existing subscription (web) or Manage existing subscription (app) to reach the billing portal instead.
If you already have a live plan, the cards read Switch to [Plan] instead of Choose [Plan], and tapping one changes your plan in place: with proration, no checkout. See managing your subscription.
