Edit your profile
Update your name and photo so your team sees the right you.
Your profile is how the rest of your school sees you. Your name and photo sit on the home hero, in the staff directory, and next to every message you send. When they're current, families and coworkers know who they're talking to.
Get to Edit profile
On the web, go to Settings and click Edit profile.
On the mobile app, open the Settings tab and tap Edit profile at the top of the list.
Change your name
- Type your first name in the First name field.
- Type your last name in the Last name field.
- Tap or click Save.
You'll land back on Settings, and your new name shows up right away on the profile hero and everywhere else you appear.
You need at least one of the two. If you clear both fields, Clear Day stops you with "Please enter at least a first or last name." and won't save.
Change your photo
On the web, the photo lives in the card at the top of Edit profile:
- Upload photo opens your files so you can pick an image.
- Remove clears the current photo and falls back to your initials.
On the mobile app, tap the avatar at the top of Edit profile, choose a picture from your camera or library, and crop it to fit.
Use a JPG or PNG. A square image works best so nothing gets cropped at an odd angle. The photo saves the moment you pick it, so you don't need to tap Save for it to stick.
