Why can't I see a feature?
Available on every plan
A three-step check for a missing page, button or tab: your plan, your role, and features that are still rolling out to schools.
If a page, tab or button you expect isn't there, check these three things in order. Most of the time it's the first or second.
1. Your plan
Free and Plus schools get the website, leads, tours, calendar and free tools. Attendance, daily reports, classrooms, family messaging, tuition billing and reports come with Run or Grow. Applications, offers and the enrollment pipeline come with Grow.
Open one of those pages on a plan that doesn't include it and you'll see an Unlock card, such as "Unlock the rest of Clear Day", "Unlock classrooms" or "Unlock the enrollment engine". A few buttons are disabled instead, with the note "Available on the Grow plan." That's the plan talking, not a bug.
During a free trial, everything is open. If something vanished, your trial may have ended. Open Settings to see your plan. To compare plans, see Plans and pricing.
2. Your role
Some pages are for school admins only, such as reports and billing. If you open one as a teacher you'll see "You need admin access for this page." Parent pages say "This view is for parent accounts." A director looking at a parent-only page sees that message too. It means the page isn't meant for your role.
Ask your director to check your role, or to do the task for you.
3. Rolling out
Some features are turned on school by school. Staff scheduling and the time clock, in-room logging like the sleep board and medication, roster changes like moving a room or withdrawing a student, pipeline board, meal-pattern checks, and Tap to Pay can all be off for your school even on the right plan and role. If an article says "Rolling out," that's this.
There's nothing to set yourself. Email support with your school's name and the feature, and we'll tell you whether it's on.
Still missing?
Refresh the page, or sign out and back in, so Clear Day reloads your plan and role. Then see When the app won't load.
