Reset your password
Reset your Clear Day password, with fixes for when the email doesn't arrive or the code stops working.
The reset works the same for staff and families. You ask for a reset, we email you, and you set a new password. The email carries both a reset code and a web link, so you can finish wherever you are.
In the app
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?
- Enter the email tied to your account and tap Send reset code.
- Open the email from Clear Day, subject Reset your password.
- Type the reset code into the app, choose a new password, and confirm it.
- Sign in with your new password.
On the web
Same email, different finish. Click Forgot Password on the sign-in page and enter your email. When the email arrives, use the Reset Password button instead of the code, set your new password, and you're back in.
The email didn't arrive
Give it two or three minutes, then:
- Look in spam and promotions. Reset emails sometimes land there.
- Check the address. It has to be the exact email on your account. Families: that's the address your school invited you with. If you're not sure which one, ask your director.
- Search your inbox for "Clear Day" in case a filter tucked it into a folder.
The note arrives from [email protected]. Adding that to your contacts helps it land next time.
The code stopped working
A reset code is good for 15 minutes. Asking for a new one retires the old one, so only the most recent email works. If your code won't take, request a fresh reset and use the newest email.
One thing we'll never do: ask for your password by email or phone. If a message does, it isn't from us.
Still locked out? Email support from the address on your account and we'll get you back in.
