Join an existing school

If your school is already on Clear Day, you don't sign up. Your director sends you an invite, and you finish your own account from it.

The invite email has an Accept Invitation button for the web and a code for the app. Use whichever you'll work in.

In the app

Use the code from your email.

1. Open Clear Day. Tap Got an invite code? Join here on the Welcome screen. Or tap Get started, then the Join as staff card.
2. On "You're almost in," type your code in Invite code. Capital letters don't matter. The example in the box is sunny-2026.
3. Choose a password in Create a password, and repeat it in Confirm password.
4. Tap Join school. You're signed in right away.

On the web

1. Click Accept Invitation in the email. It opens a page headed "Accept your invite."
2. Choose a Password and repeat it in Confirm Password.
3. Click Accept invite. Clear Day opens to your school.

Password rules

Your password needs at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a number. The app checks each one as you type.

If it doesn't work

• "This invite has already been accepted. Sign in instead." Your account exists. Click Sign in. In the app, the message reads "This invite has already been used. Try signing in instead."
• "This invite has expired. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one." Ask your director for a new invite.
• "Your invite token is invalid." Open the link again from the email, or ask for a new invite. In the app, "Invalid invite code" means the same thing. Check the code against your email.
• "That invite code doesn't look right." The app says this before it checks with your school. Copy the code again.

Your invite code is in the email your school sent. No email? Ask your director to send the invite again.
