Join an existing school

If your school is already on Clear Day, there's nothing to sign up for. Your director sends you an invite, and you finish your own account from there. Here's how to accept it and sign in the first time.

What you need first

Your director sends one of two things, depending on where you're joining:

• An invite code (something like SUNNY-2026) if you're joining from the Clear Day app.
• An invite link if you're joining from a web browser.

No code or link yet? Ask your director to send one. In the app, you'll see the same reminder on screen: Don't have a code? Ask your director.

From the Clear Day app

The app opens to a Welcome to your school screen with everything on one page.

1. In Invite code, type the code your director shared. Case doesn't matter.
2. In Create a password, pick a password of at least 8 characters.
3. Type it again in Confirm password.
4. Tap Join school. You're signed in right away.

From a web browser

Open the invite link your director sent. It loads a page titled Accept Invite: your invitation is already attached, so all you do is set a password.

1. In Password, pick a password of at least 8 characters.
2. Repeat it in Confirm Password.
3. Select Accept Invite. Clear Day opens straight to your school.

When the code or link won't go through

Two messages come up most often:

• The invite was already used. Your account is set up already. Use Sign In instead of accepting again: on the web, that button appears right in the message.
• The invite code or token is invalid. Check the code against what your director sent, or ask for a fresh invite.

Invites are one-time, and they can expire. If yours has stopped working, the quickest path is a new invite from your director. Once it lands, start again from the top.
