Invite your team

Adding someone to your school takes one short form. They get an email, follow it to set up their account, and they're in. Only a school admin can send invites.

The Invite team page needs Run or Grow. Free and Plus schools don't have it.

Send an invite

• Web: open People and click Invite team.
• App: open the School tab and tap Invite team.

The form asks for:

1. Role: Teacher or School Admin. In the app the second reads School admin.
2. Email. This is the only required field. It's where the invite goes.
3. First name and Last name. Both are optional. They can fill them in themselves.

Click Send invite. The page confirms "Invite sent!" From there, Invite another gives you a blank form, and Done takes you back to People.

Teacher or school admin

• Teacher is for the people in the classrooms: daily reports, attendance and messages with families.
• School Admin is for the people who run the school with you, with the wider view across it.

If you're not sure, start with Teacher.

What they receive

An email with a subject like "Dana Reyes invited you to Little Oaks Preschool". It has an Accept Invitation button that opens a web page, and an invite code to enter in the app. See Join an existing school.

Each invite works once. If it stops working, send a new one.

During setup

Inviting your team is the last step of setting up a school. You can invite several people at once. Fill in a row for each, with first name, last name, email and a role of Teacher or Director. Director makes that person a school admin. Click Add another for more rows, then Send invites & finish.
